Dr. Sood was raised in South Atlanta in Jonesboro, GA. He attended Woodward Academy in College Park, GA from Kindergarten to 12. He completed a computer science degree at the University of Georgia with a minor in Biology. He then completed medical school at the PCOM-Georgia Campus in Suwanee, GA., graduating in 2009. He completed his Traditional Rotating Internship at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute in St. Petersburg, FL.
He then completed his primary residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Emory School of Medicine, which he completed in 2013. Dr. Sood then went on to finish his post-graduate training by doing a fellowship in Interventional Pain and Sports Medicine at the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan, NY in 2014.
